Product Developer

For more than 25 years, a versatile team of top Belgian designers has been putting Joli on the map. With 100% Belgian design, timeless concepts and a refreshing take on furniture. We blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor design, combining convenience, comfort and strong aesthetics.

As a product developer, you will be part of our enthusiastic R&D-team and contribute to developing and optimising our products. You have a passion for metal, an eye for detail and a strong drive to contribute to the development of unique furniture pieces. You will work closely with experienced product developers, external designers and suppliers.

Your tasks include:

Your tasks include:

  • Actively involved in drawing and developing using Siemens NX (dedication of 75%);
  • Digitizing and structuring designs;
  • Prototype testing to evaluate functional aspects;
  • Getting the existing design ready for production with technical insight;
  • Working closely with external suppliers to streamline the production process;
  • Price-conscious development of new projects / portfolio cost optimisation;
  • Project management: planning, monitoring and keeping an overview, with attention to deadlines;
  • Executive support to our senior product developer in our product development.

What we expect from you:

  • You have knowledge/experience in Siemens NX;
  • You hold a master's degree in industrial design OR a bachelor's degree in industrial product design;
  • You like to take initiative and can work autonomously;
  • You are entrepreneurial, proactive and take a realistic approach;
  • No work experience yet? No problem, school leavers certainly qualify!
